Position: Accounts Manager
Our firm is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for one of its valued clients, a well-established medium-sized company located in New Challi, Karachi, for the position of Accounts Manager.
Eligibility Criteria
The ideal candidate should meet one of the following academic qualifications:
• ACCA (Qualified or Part-Qualified with 1–2 papers remaining)
• MBA (Finance / Accounting)
• CA (Articles Completed)
Experience
• 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparation of financial statements and management accounts
• Compliance and handling of withholding taxes under the Income Tax Ordinance
• Working knowledge and compliance with Sales Tax laws
• Management of day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting
• Coordination with management and external stakeholders, including tax authorities and auditors
Skills & Knowledge
• Strong understanding of Pakistan taxation laws, particularly withholding tax and sales tax
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy
Compensation
• Salary package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
