Hamdard University celebrates another moment of pride!
Ms. Ramsha Qayyum student from the Biomedical Engineering Department has been awarded the prestigious Gold Medal at the 39th IEEEP Multi-Topic International Symposium 2025!
Leading the project "Skin Disease Detection via Hybrid Deep Learning Model", she shined among more than 40 outstanding research entries making Hamdard University one of the top winners!
Supervised by Dr. Muhammad Faris, with key contributions from Engr. Tariq Javid, Ms. Fakiha, and Ms. Khadija, this achievement reflects the power of innovation, teamwork, and academic excellence.

Hamdard University Faculty of Engineering Sciences & Technology students take action for a sustainable future!
Abdul Rehman and Fanae Ahmed, students of BS-Biotechnology, Department of Applied Sciences, Hamdard University, Karachi, successfully completed their internship with WWF-Pakistan.
As part of their project on eco-bricks, they tackled plastic pollution by transforming non-recyclable plastic waste into sustainable building materials. Through extensive research, community engagement, and hands-on implementation, they contributed to environmental conservation and promoted a circular economy.
