A remarkable new landmark has been revealed in Bata Kundi, Kaghan Valley, where the world’s largest Markhor sculpture now stands proudly at Shah Daoud Palace. Designed by Engineer Muhammad Shehzad, the towering artwork rises 105 feet high and 38 feet wide, the result of five years of dedicated effort and craftsmanship.

The masterpiece showcases the cultural and environmental importance of the Markhor, admired for its signature spiral horns and resilience in challenging mountain terr_ains. With populations found in Chitral, Kohistan, Kalam, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, and Azad Kashmir, the Markhor represents the beauty and strength of Pakistan’s wildlife heri_tage.
