Meeting Held to Review Progress on Punjab Climate Change Action Plan 2024
Under the chairmanship of the Ms. Nadia Shafiq - Senior Chief (Env. & CC), P&D Board, a key meeting was conducted to review the implementation progress of the Punjab Climate Change Action Plan 2024.
The session brought together representatives from various departments to assess departmental contributions and align development schemes with the Plan’s strategic climate goals.
The collaborative effort reflects the Government of Punjab’s commitment to building climate resilience and sustainability across the province. 🌱🌍

Meeting with World Bank Technical Support Mission on Punjab Green Development Program
A meeting with the World Bank’s Technical Support Mission chaired by Member ID, P&DB - Dr. Muhammad Abid Bodla, was held at P&D Complex. The mission, led by Senior Environmental Specialist and Task Team Leader (TTL) Mr. Ahmad Imran Aslam, focused on reviewing the progress of the Punjab Green Development Program (PGDP) and finalizing key restructuring parameters.
The meeting was attended by Chief Env. / and DPC PGDP, Ms. Saba Asghar Ali, along with representatives from the World Bank, PGDP, and various departments, including P&D, Industries, Finance, Transport, Energy, and other.
