PU Job Fest 2026: Chairman PMYP Shares Prime Minister’s Youth Vision at Punjab University

At the annual Job Fest 2026 held at University of the Punjab, the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme outlined the federal government’s comprehensive roadmap for youth empowerment under the leadership of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

In a conversation with Anchorperson Muhammad Anique Butt, the Chairman emphasized that Pakistan’s development agenda is closely tied to investing in its young population. He highlighted key initiatives including expanded digital skills training, interest-free loan schemes for young entrepreneurs, merit-based scholarship programs, and stronger linkages between universities and industry.

Addressing students and faculty members, he stated that the government aims to equip youth with market-relevant skills to compete both nationally and internationally. He further underscored the importance of innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology-driven growth in strengthening Pakistan’s economy.

The session concluded with a call for collective efforts from educational institutions, policymakers, and the private sector to transform youth potential into sustainable progress.
