⚡ Hybrid Solar System – Precautions & Safety Checklist

🔹 Precautions (To Avoid Mistakes)

Do not connect solar panels without proper wiring and fuses.

Avoid oversizing load beyond inverter capacity.

Never run hybrid inverter without proper earthing/grounding.

Do not use low-quality DC cables or connectors.

Avoid keeping batteries in a closed or hot room (if using batteries).

Do not mix different types or sizes of batteries.

Never connect inverter directly to the grid without approved protections.

Avoid running system without proper surge protection.

Do not clean panels with dirty water or metal objects (may scratch glass).

Never leave system unchecked during abnormal sounds, smell, or overheating.

🔹 Safety Measures

Always install proper MCB/Breaker on AC and DC side.

Use SPD (Surge Protection Device) for both solar and grid side.

Provide earthing/grounding for panels, inverter, and battery bank.

Use MC4 connectors for solar panel wiring.

Keep a fire extinguisher near inverter/battery room.

Place inverter in a ventilated, dust-free, and dry location.

Check all wiring connections regularly for heating or burning marks.

Use correct size of wires/cables according to current rating.

Ensure isolation switch for solar array to disconnect in emergency.

Train household/staff about system shutdown procedure.
