The original tutorial prototype for Cyborg Wheel Bike had a camera glitch that completely broke the experience. For a game built around fast reflexes and 360° tunnel navigation, a broken camera in the first 10 seconds means losing the player before they even understand what the game is.

This dev log walks through how we identified the issue and started refining the tutorial from the ground up — smoother camera behavior, a clear level progress bar tracking Lv 1 to Lv 2, and neon blue rails guiding new players through the futuristic tunnel environment.
The best games are intuitive from second one. That's the standard we're holding ourselves to.

Reel 9 of 12 — this one's a bug report with the camera rolling.

The Magnet power-up in Cyborg Wheel Bike is designed to attract nearby coins automatically during a run. In this dev log, we're documenting the moment we caught it failing — coins not responding, the Magnet UI bar active and charged, and the mechanic simply not doing its job.

In a game where coins unlock weapon workshops and drive progression, this isn't a cosmetic issue. It's a core loop problem that needed to be caught, documented, and fixed before it ever reached a player.

Reel 8 of 12 — and this one's about a fix that unlocks everything.

Spawning logic might not grab headlines but in Cyborg Wheel Bike, every enemy drone, glowing barrier, and collectible coin needs to appear at precisely the right moment inside a fast-moving 12-sided tunnel. Get that wrong and the whole game falls apart.

This dev log confirms it's now working exactly as intended — showcasing World 1's Neon Sector in full: dark blue and purple futuristic tones, glowing neon energy rings, orange breakable barriers, gold coin lanes, and the cybernetic wheel bike rotating 360° with twin guns auto-firing down the tunnel center.
