‎Topic: Exploring the Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Academic Success

‎The Professional Development Day was held on 18th October 2025 at PECTAA Nawan Shaher Multan. The session was conducted by Mrs. Humaira (SSS Urdu).

‎The presentation highlighted the importance of emotional intelligence (EI) in enhancing students’ learning outcomes and overall well-being. Mrs. Humaira explained how self-awareness, empathy, motivation and social skills play a key role in improving academic performance. She emphasized that teachers can foster emotional intelligence through classroom activities, positive communication and supportive learning environments.

‎The session was highly informative and engaging. Participants gained valuable insights into integrating emotional intelligence strategies in daily teaching practices to promote holistic student development.
‎The workshop successfully achieved participants’ understanding of the link between emotions and learning, encouraging educators to nurture emotionally intelligent classrooms for academic success.

‎Topic: The Influence of Social Learning Theory on the Modern Classroom

‎A professional development day was organized at PECTAA Nawan Shaher Multan,for teachers with the purpose of enhancing their understanding of modern educational practices. The focus of the session was on The Influence of Social Learning Theory on the Modern Classroom.

‎The resource person Mst.Gulnaz Bibi SSt Science explained the core principles of Albert Bandura’s Social Learning Theory, which emphasizes that learning takes place through observation, imitation and modeling. It was highlighted that students not only learn from direct instruction but also by observing their peers, teachers and the environment around them.

‎Practical applications of the theory in the modern classroom were discussed, such as the importance of positive role models, peer collaboration, group activities and the use of multimedia tools that allow students to witness behaviors and outcomes.

‎The session emphasized that the integration of Social Learning Theory can make lessons more engaging, improve student motivation and promote values such as teamwork, empathy and responsibility.

‎In conclusion, the professional development day proved to be highly beneficial. Teachers gained new insights into how Social Learning Theory can influence classroom practices and were encouraged to adopt these strategies to create a more interactive and student-centered learning environment.
