ہم مطالبہ کرتے ہیں:
- ہماری ملازمت کی بحالی اور تحفظ!
- کم از کم سرکاری تنخواہ اور وقت پر ادائیگی!
- ہماری حفاظت، عزت اور کام کے بہتر حالات!
- عالمی ادارے اور حکومتی نمائندے فوری نوٹس لیں اور انصاف فراہم کریں!

ہزاروں ورکرز اور ان کے خاندان روٹی سے محروم ہو رہے ہیں، یہ صرف ایک جاب نہیں، قوم کے مستقبل کی بقا ہے۔ ہماری ناانصافی پورے پاکستان کی صحت پر اٹیک ہے۔

- *The role of WHO in polio eradication and the success of the CBV model — but why are there now cruel changes?*
- Polio is a dangerous disease, and massive efforts have been made globally for its eradication. In Pakistan—especially in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (including Peshawar)—the WHO ran polio programs from 1994 to 2015 using various strategies and systems like DDM.
- In these systems, most workers were hired on daily wages and there was widespread corruption in team numbers and attendance records.
- This system provided neither protection to workers nor control over polio.
- Then in 2015, a major change occurred: the CBV (Community Based Vaccination) model, which was used in Africa, was introduced in Khyber.
- Workers were paid directly into their accounts.
- Workers received permanent identification, proper training, and were assigned local areas.
- People’s trust increased because workers were now from their own communities.
- *Result:*
- After 2015, the number of polio cases in Khyber dropped from hundreds to zero!

- *But today…*
- The government and relevant departments are now bringing back the old corrupt DDM system.
- Workers who served for 10 years—fighting dengue, corona, measles, typhoid, and 12 other diseases with over 85% vaccination coverage—are being dismissed without reason.
- The system is shifting back to daily wage and fake teams, which is unfair to workers and endangers community health.

- *Key questions:*
- When the CBV system was successful, why is it being discontinued?
- Polio still exists in Pakistan—so why end a proven model?
- Who will hold WHO and global agencies accountable for the millions in funding they provide?

- *Is the return to the DDM system merely another opportunity to "consume" the funds through corruption?*

- *Our appeal:*
- We demand the CBV system be continued.
- The old workers should be retained as ad hoc or contract health workers.
- Global agencies should take no
