PAK Ever-Bright Development Organization

The Office of Sustainability, National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), in collaboration with Pak Everbright Development Organization (P**O), met with Prof. Dr. Zia Ul Haq, Executive Director, Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, and other HEC officials to strengthen coordination on advancing inclusive higher education for students with disabilities.

Key discussions highlighted Disability Resource Centers (DRCs) as a practical and replicable model for creating accessible and inclusive learning environments. It was emphasized that persons with disabilities are an integral part of higher education, often reaching universities after navigating systemic and structural barriers, reinforcing the need to make accessibility a standard, not an exception.
