On March 27, 2026, Honorable Secretary Agriculture, Mr. Bakhtiar Khan, visited the ATI Center in Swat to formally inaugurate an AI-operated drip irrigation system implemented by SRSP, during which he appreciated the role of OFWM in the project's implementation and emphasized the adoption of innovative technologies and research-oriented approaches in future development activities.

Under the ambitious “1,000,000 Trees Plantation Drive” initiated by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the On-Farm Water Management Department, District Swat, actively participated in promoting a greener and more sustainable environment. District Director OFWM Swat, Engr. Mueenuddin, along with Deputy Director Engr. Ataullah Khan and departmental staff, carried out a plantation activity during the ongoing spring plantation season. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to environmental conservation, climate resilience, and the enhancement of ecological balance in the region.
