“What I started as a way of helping women in Afghanistan make a little money from their own work, slowly changed into a potential social enterprise idea.

Following tasks at various events, I was invited to the inaugural Peace Summit of Emerging Leaders 2018 held by Humanitarian Affairs Asia in Bangkok, Thailand. Here I was once again able to share my story and ideas for this initiative.

Since then, I along with six of the delegates from the Peace Summit have been able to grow my idea into an enterprise that now has the potential to make a difference in the lives of more women around the globe. Asana was born”. 🌏

Hello! My name is Mahsa Karimi living in Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan. I study a BBE (Bachelor of Business Economics) at Kateb University.

I have always dreamed of being able to help my people, specifically the females who are sometimes the only supporter of their family when a male is not present. I hope Afsana will provide these women with the financial support they need to fullfil their family’s demands. And now Afsana can help me achieve my dreams. 😍
