Important Update for iOS & Flutter Developers Starting April 2026, all new apps and updates submitted to App Store Connect must be built using Xcode 26 and the 26 SDK (including tvoS, watch0S, and vision0S SDKS). If your app isn't built with these SDKS, App Store submissions will be rejected. What to do now:
- Upgrade to Xcode 26
- Rebuild apps using the i0S 26
- SDK Test thoroughly on the latest versions
- Update dependencies and native plugins
Impact on Flutter developers: Flutter apps targeting ioS must also compile with Xcode 26. Older plugins or native i0S code may need updates, so testing early is key.
April 2026 may feel far, but planning upgrades now avoids last-minute blockers.
