Japanese Hybrid SUVs Now Cost Over Rs. 10 Million in Pakistan!

Following the increase in GST on hybrid vehicles from 8.5% to 25%, both the Honda HR-V e and Toyota Corolla Cross HEV have crossed the Rs. 1 crore price mark, effective 1st July 2026.

• Honda HR-V e:HEV: Increased by Rs. 13.70 lakh

The revised prices reflect the impact of the new taxation policy, making these popular Japanese hybrid SUVs significantly more expensive for buyers in Pakistan.

Toyota Indus has massively increased the price of Land Cruiser LC300 Petrol by PKR 1.1 Crore taking the old price from PKR 9.5 Crore to PKR 10.6 Crore.

The revised prices follow the implementation of the Special Excise Duty (SED) introduced in Budget 2026. Under the new taxation structure:
▪️ 86% SED applies to imported vehicles with engine capacities between 2,000cc and 3,000cc.
▪️ 92% SED applies to imported vehicles with engine capacities above 3,000cc.
