❔Many interviews start with the question, "So, tell me about yourself," which may seem innocent.
❕However, be wary that this is a trap for many candidates who ramble on aimlessly about their life story or job history instead of selling themselves for the position.
🟢The best way to answer this question is by starting from the present and explaining why you are well-qualified for the role.
🔵Remember that it's all about matching your qualifications to what the interviewer is looking for; in other words, sell them what they're buying! This one strategy alone will make a world of difference in your job-hunting journey.🔵
✔Complete these two steps to tailor the :
1. Investigate this person's wants and needs beforehand through homework
2. Ask for a thorough description of the position early in the interview
👉For example: "So, what you're saying is that you need someone who can .... Correct?" or "Let me make sure I understand, you want me to ... Right?"
