I am. Of course I am...

I’ve watched several editions already, and I was genuinely curious to see the Polish one.

📺 And yes, at times I do find myself hiding behind a cushion because the amount of cringe is… generous.
But from a communications, psychological and cultural perspective, it is actually fascinating. 👀

One thing I noticed very quickly is how often younger Millennials and Gen Z participants use English words and phrases.
Of course, we know that Poles generally speak English very well.
The level of English in Poland is high, especially among younger, urban, professionally mobile people.

But still — the constant switching between Polish and English is a bit painful to listen to. 🤦‍♀️

From a brand and consumer insight perspective, though, it says something important: Polish consumers are increasingly building their identity through association with Western culture, even though pride in being Polish seems to be as strong as ever. 🇵🇱
Another thing that stood out to me is how many participants live abroad or have lived abroad. 🌍

Again, not surprising. Polish migration has shaped an entire generation, and now we are also seeing a wave of returns, hybrid identities, and people who are emotionally connected to Poland but professionally or personally shaped by life elsewhere. ✈️
That creates a whole new kind of consumer - and, in many ways, a whole new kind of person.

So yes, Netflix Love is Blind Poland is trash TV - but you can learn from it if you look at the cultural, communications and psychological aspects. 💡

As for the dating side of the show, I am not a dating expert, so I will stay silent on that particular aspect… 💓
