On 12 December 2025, the Act of 21 November 2025 amending the Act on Foreigners and certain other acts was signed into law. The new regulations introduce the digitalisation of procedures related to the legalisation of foreigners’ stay in Poland. ❗

According to the planned changes, applications for residence permits in Poland (temporary residence, permanent residence, and EU long-term resident status) will be submitted exclusively in electronic form, via a dedicated online platform – the Case Handling Module (MOS).🌐

At this moment, this obligation is not yet in force.
