Optics directly affect how much power an airfield lighting system consumes. More efficient light use means lower energy demand and higher operating time, ensuring system stability and predictability.

"In the case of S4GA CAT I Solar AGL, we put a great deal of time and effort into optimizing our optics to be as efficient as possible. And we actually reached an astonishing number of 97% efficiency, which in fact translates into extremely low power consumption," explains Łukasz Kornacki of S4GA in an interview with Derek Calloway, Director of Dewhurst Airfield Services.

S4GA integrates the full set of airfield lights into a single truck, capable of covering an entire runway. This keeps transport simple and avoids splitting the system across multiple assets.

All lights are securely fixed inside the truck for safe transportation, while remaining easy to handle during deployment.
