This historic 1936 building was full of surprises, and we chose to embrace its character. A monolith island in natural stone anchors the kitchen, set against stained oak cabinetry recessed within the existing niche. The contrast creates intimacy and draws attention to the materials.

Sunlight moves across the space, bringing warmth to every surface. Matte black, natural wood, and supple leather create a quiet balance between strength and comfort. Plants and filtered light make the space feel grounded, calm, and alive - shaped as much by atmosphere as by objects.
