I used to struggle getting enough protein in my diet, now I have to be careful to not eat too much 🤌🏼

Prioritizing protein has been a game changer for my weight loss, my energy levels and overall strength.

This is not an everyday set up, but I’ve learned how to keep my protein up regardless of if it comes from processed foods, whole foods or a mix of both.

I’m planning to start tracking all of my macros to see how much I’ve been consuming of each and how I can tweak it to maximize my results.

Tracking your kcal can be a great tool, but I don’t believe in it being a sustainable solution for long term, neither it is enjoyable in any way and can sometimes cause eating disorders, so knowing your body, tracking things like mood, strength, energy, weight or inches can be much better long term solution to achieving your fitness goals.

But again, everyone is different and it’s all about finding what works for you through trial and error and if something makes you miserable and only takes away instead of give, pivot.

Eating high protein diet definitely has helped me produce an overflow of milk so I never have to worry if my baby has enough food!
So for all breastfeeding mamas out there- eat your protein! 🤌🏼
