Interactions between users and live communication are a key element of the meetings. The Meetinga Event App provided additional space in the form of a 1: 1 chat and a group chat where participants could talk, share requests and announcements. An important tool in the hands of the organizer was also push notifications, which were used for quick announcements and organizing time during the event.
During the lecture, the organizer had two additional elements at their disposal:
🔹 asking questions live with the option of adding hearts, i.e. adding likes to a question that has already been asked, thanks to which the
🔹 questions were not repeated, and the tutor could focus his attention on the most popular ones;
🔹 Mentimeter - a tool implemented in the application, thanks to which the event manager could conduct even more complex, but at the same time graphically attractive voting.
A separate factor that is crucial when implementing such applications is communication with the provider. The Meetinga team was at the service of the event manager by phone and e-mail throughout the period before and during the event.

While organizing hybrid event, remember to pay attention to the online attendees. They sit in front of the monitor, and thus there are many factors that may distract their attention from actual participation in the event. As we all know, attention and active participation contribute to satisfaction, and this in turn makes the participants come back to the next editions of your event.

Therefore, make sure that:
▪️ the lectures were short and concise - prolonged sitting in front of the screen will make online participants tired;
▪️ the event was interactive - the ability to write, take part in surveys or ask questions will provide you with the attention of participants not only in the room, but also in front of the monitor;
▪️ engage the audience - questions asked by the speakers, the content of the slides, and the lectures should be engaging for the audience, it will increase their engagement and satisfaction.
