How the textures, colours and patterns of Serra da Estrela find their way into weaving and everything we make.

Brasília was not a city that slowly grew over time. It was planned from scratch in the 1950s as Brazil’s new capital, with Lúcio Costa drawing the urban plan and Oscar Niemeyer designing many of its most iconic buildings.

Clube de Golfe de Brasília sits inside that story.

Set beside Lake Paranoá, with the city’s long lines on the horizon and the JK Bridge in view, the course offers a different way to read Brazil’s modernist capital.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., its location was already defined in the Plano Piloto, the original planning of the city.

Transhumance is the seasonal movement of shepherds and their flocks from one grazing area to another, often following routes used for generations.

In Portugal, sheep and goats are part of this pastoral culture. During transhumance celebrations, the animals are often decorated with bells, coloured wool, flowers, or ribbons. Some details help identify them; others give the journey a festive, communal feeling.

For Mogshade, this world feels close to the elements we work with: wool, local hands, rural landscapes.
