Great news from the Góra Kalwaria swimming pool renovation!

Another big step forward – photovoltaic panels are now fully installed! 🌞 This means the facility will soon start generating clean, renewable energy to help power its operations. 💡🌿
✅ Roofing work is complete + PV installation is finished!
➡️ Next up: installing key air handling units’ elements!

We’re building a smarter, greener, and more energy-efficient pool complex—and it’s all coming together beautifully! Stay tuned for more progress updates soon! 💧

This renovation is part of the EU-funded FORTESIE project, which promotes and tests cutting-edge energy-saving solutions in combination with strong community involvement.

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗘 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴!

At the beginning of April, our architecture team gathered with the partners from the FORTESIE Consortium in the vibrant city of Porto for the 4th Plenary Meeting — a great way to kick off the month with energy, collaboration, and a shared commitment to a greener future 🌱💡

During the meeting, partners shared updates on renovation processes, communication activities, the progress of the OSS platform, and the development of business models aimed at accelerating market uptake across Europe. We also discussed challenges and opportunities in the renovation sector — from financing strategies to ecosystem mapping.

Intensive workshops were focused on:
🔹 Strengthening dissemination and stakeholder engagement
🔹 Accelerating business and market strategies
🔹 Enhancing the pilot-specific mobile app to improve user experience

The discussions were enriching and the ideas exchanged inspiring. A huge thanks to all our partners for their dedication and cooperation. We’re excited to continue working together to turn our vision into real-world impact 🌍

‼️ AUKCJA DLA TOMKA JUŻ JUTRO W ‼️

Nasz Przyjaciel Tomek Głowacki jest architektem, krytykiem architektury i adiunktem na Wydział Architektury Politechniki Wrocławskiej, twórcą nagradzanych budynków. Praca była zawsze Jego pasją, którą dzielił się ze studentami. Jego dotychczasowe, aktywne życie legło w gruzach, kiedy ponad rok temu zdiagnozowano u Niego nowotwór złośliwy przełyku.

Dzięki skutecznej zbiórce udało mu się sfinansować specjalistyczne leczenie, które pozwala Mu z nadzieją spoglądać w przyszłość. Dalsze leczenie, któremu Tomek się poddaje, nie jest niestety w całości refundowane.

Dlatego koledzy i koleżanki, studenci i studentki z Politechnika Wrocławska oraz SARP Wrocław przygotowali charytatywną aukcję, podczas której będzie można kupić obiekty sztuki i dizajnu: obrazy i fotografie, unikatową ceramikę, książki z autografami i wiele innych 🤩

Aukcja odbędzie się już jutro u nas w Muzeum Architektury we Wrocławiu przy ul. Bernardyńskiej.
