What does it feel like to submit "Bałtyk" documentary to the "Orły" Awards, talk with audiences, and once again reflect on the film and the entire creative process behind it?

It’s simply wonderful. Iga Lis, Wędzarnia U Mieci, Tadeusz Chłoń, Grzegorz Owczarek, Jakub Darewski, Kosma Kowalczyk, Kacper Gawron, Bartosz Kruczyński, Stanisław Zaborowski, Karolina Sienkiewicz - once again, thank you for one of the most meaningful film adventures of my life. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for nominations, especially in the "Documentary of the Year" and "Discovery of the Year" categories.

While we’re probably not expecting a sound nomination, Tadeusz, Grzegorz and I are really happy to see the sound of "Bałtyk" consistently noticed and appreciated by audiences, and becoming part of post-screening questions and discussions. We may be a little too close to it ourselves and not able to judge it objectively, but it seems we managed to create that special sonic “something” that resonated with both ears and hearts of the people watching the picture.

We seriously did not expect that. "The Crone" by Catherine Kasima Kanda with Best Sound Design award at Zepstone International Film & Music Festival. We're proud, we're happy and we're not done yet.
