It is normal to know what endometriosis is.

It is not a rare condition. It affects approximately 1 in 10 women of reproductive age, according to the World Health Organization. And yet, many women receive a diagnosis only after years of normalized pain.

It is not normal to feel so unwell that you cannot go to school or work.
It is not normal to be told “it’s like this for everyone.”
It is not normal to live with severe pain without proper investigation.

It is normal to ask questions.
It is normal to request a medical consultation.
It is normal to want answers.

Education shortens suffering.
