IMPROVE YOUR MANUFACTURING PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Scheduling an order for item manufacturing is undoubtedly one of the most complex tasks, requiring multi level cooperation between various departments. With this in mind, the Dynamics Nav has developed a Production Order workflow to help you with the management of the necessary details in the item manufacturing process.

Release of Production Orders can be found in the Manufacture module in the Departments Menu. After having the Routing and BOM databases set up and entering all of the mandatory data (for instance, Source Type, Item Type, Quantity or Due Date), the new Release of Production Order can be issued. Conversely, the system automatically presents the user the details of the manufacturing process. Within just one click, the user has a preview of the start and the end date of the production, with subdivision to every step of the process, or the crucial components for the fulfilment of the production order. All of this happens immediately after the mouse click confirming the release of the Production Order.
