I love reading ❤️📖. Not only business literature. I love to read books “ for the soul ” too. I think it helps understand people and the world better.

Every time I find a good book 🔥, a really good one, everything else stops existing. As if I am watching a movie in my head🎥🍿.

That is exactly what happened when I was reading ☝️“1984”. If you have not read it yet - put it on your reading list right now!☝️

I don’t know how to even start to describe the emotional hurricane I am experiencing right now after finishing the last page…

😲Till the very end I hoped it will be a “happy ending” when a single human being overthrows the system. But it was not.

😲I thought there would be a beautiful love story amidst the cruelty of the outside world. But it was not.

😲Almost till the last charter I thought the described World Order was nonsense and it was just a hyperbole to the Soviet Union or N**i Regimes. But when I actually read word by word how the system concept was explained - I could even believe it myself😵, given the circumstances. Orwell is a mastermind if he could use the words in such a way that you in your mind start thinking that 2+2=5….🤷‍♀️

😲I thought it was just a novel. A story, in which history was overwritten in such a way, that it was closer to the reality we have today. In the book, for example, in one of the institutions of the System - the Ministry of Truth, the history gets constantly rewritten. Old facts get removed so that whatever was said in the past matched the reality we are now. But see how relevant this is nowadays. Take for example new “Cleopatra” movie by Jada Smith. She is re-writing the history to match the reality of nowadays…. Same is going to happen soon to the James Bond, by the way 🥲

So, if you are still contemplating which book to chose next…choose Orwell “1984”. You won’t regret it 🫶
