Stanislaw took his first flight in 2016 and quickly knew gliding was something special. From that moment, he began training with a clear goal: to master the skills needed to fly at the highest level. He enjoys the competitive side of the sport the most, where he can put his abilities to the test against other pilots.

Living near the Tatra Mountains and proud of his highlander roots, mountain flying is in Stanislaw’s blood. It’s where every flight is different, demanding both precision and experience, and it’s where he feels most at home in the cockpit.

Before gliding took over his life, he spent many years as a ski jumper. The sport taught him concentration, emotional control, and how to make split-second decisions in constantly changing conditions, all skills that now serve him perfectly in the air.

Stanislaw just returned from the European Gliding Championships in Bekescsaba, were he placed 3rd in the 20 meter multi-seat class. It will be exciting to see how his mountain experience and competitive edge play out in this world SGP final.
