We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the TRADOC Band for inviting us to be part of the Virginia International Tattoo and including us in this outstanding event.
The Virginia International Tattoo is one of the largest military music and performance events in the world. This year, the annual event featured over 800 performers from across the globe, including military bands, drill teams, cultural performers, and dancers, in a tribute of patriotism and international goodwill.
The name "tattoo" comes from a 17th-century European tradition when innkeepers signaled soldiers to return to their barracks by playing fifes and drums, calling “Doe den tap toe!” or “Turn off the taps!” This historic tradition lives on through the Virginia International Tattoo, blending history, precision, and artistry into a celebration of music and movement.
