Our university, University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, proudly hosted its first Order of the Engineer Ring Induction Ceremony 2026, initiating students, alumni, and professionals into the Order of the Engineer. This distinguished tradition emphasizes the responsibility engineers carry to serve society with honesty, competence, and ethical judgment. As we begin this new chapter, we celebrate the dedication and promise of those who will lead the future of engineering.

As the SHPE organization, we were honored to serve as hosts for this historic event. We extend our sincere gratitude to the professors, organizers, directors, and everyone who contributed their time and effort to make this milestone possible.
