Big news! Raya has been selected for the Bravo Family Foundation Venture Fellowship.

Being supported by a foundation that believes Puerto Rico has everything it needs to thrive is deeply meaningful. Their mission is to nurture local talent and creative ideas so the island can build its own future and share it with the world, and that is exactly the soul of Raya Power: harnessing the abundance of the sun and putting that power directly in people’s hands.

And the timing could not be more urgent. Extreme weather, endless wars, and growing data centers have laid bare just how fragile centralized energy systems really are. The families most affected are the ones traditional solar was never built for: renters, low-and-middle income households, communities that have been waiting too long for solutions that actually work for them. That’s who Raya was built for.

This fellowship comes at a critical moment as we prepare for commercial launch later this year, and my co-founder Meghan Wood and I are deeply grateful for the investment and mentorship from the Bravo Family Foundation, Orlando Bravo, and the Thoma Bravo network as we scale.
