Sekumpul is mostly known for the Sekumpul Waterfall, which is famed as the best on the island. However, above the waterfall, there stretches a long expanse of rice terraces descending from the mountains to the canyon. Water flows from the mountains through an elaborate rice terrace irrigation system, cascading down into the canyon and giving rise to several large waterfalls, including the iconic Sekumpul Waterfall.
