في يوم المرأة العالمي تحية خاصة للنساء في كل مكان، للأمهات والنساء الصابرات والمثابرات، فالمرأة تجسد العناية والحنان والرجاء لكل من حولها. أعمالهن اليومية المليئة بالرحمة والعطاء، تعكس روح الخدمة والمحبة الصادقة وخدمة الآخرين بإخلاص، إن قوتهن الهادئة وصمودهن يجعل منهن مصدر بركة وثبات لعائلاتهن ومجتمعاتهن.

اليوم نتذكر بشكل خاص النساء الفلسطينيات اللواتي يعشن في ظل الحرب والمعاناة. رغم الألم والخوف والظروف الصعبة، ما زلن يحملن مسؤولية حماية عائلاتهن، وتربية أطفالهن، والحفاظ على الأمل في قلوبهم. إن صمودهن وشجاعتهن يعكسان قوة الإيمان والإنسانية.

نصلي من أجل السلام، ومن أجل كل أم وامرأة تعيش في وسط الصراعات، لكي تنال الأمان والكرامة والحياة التي تستحقها.
كل عام وجميع النساء في العالم بألف خير.

On International Women’s Day, a special greeting to women everywhere to mothers and to all patient and persevering women. A woman embodies care, tenderness, and hope for everyone around her. Their daily acts filled with compassion and generosity reflect a true spirit of service, sincere love, and dedication to helping others. Their quiet strength and resilience make them a source of blessing and stability for their families and communities. We pray for the Palestinian women who are living in the midst of war and hardship. Despite pain, fear, and difficult circumstances, they continue to carry the responsibility of protecting their families, raising their children, and keeping hope alive in their hearts.

We pray for peace and justice for woman living in the midst of conflict, that they may receive the safety, dignity.

In the midst of the ongoing war and increasing difficulties facing our community, the ELCJHL Diaconal Ministry continues its mission of love and service.

This week, during the holy season of Lent, the Diaconal Ministry team gathered in a spirit of prayer and solidarity to prepare a warm, healthy meal for 100 community members in Bethlehem, Beit Jala, and Beit Sahour.

Keeping with the Lenten tradition, we cooked mjadra (مجدرة), a simple and nourishing dish of lentils and rice, accompanied by fresh salad.

Even in difficult times, we stand united as one community. Through every hot meal served, we share not only food, but hope, dignity, and Christ’s love.

تتقدم أسرة مكتب الخدمة الاجتماعية في الكنيسة الإنجيلية اللوثرية في الأردن والأراضي المقدسة بأحر التهاني والتبريكات من المطران الدكتور عماد موسى حداد بمناسبة تنصيبه مطرانًا للكنيسة، نصلي للرب ان يبارك خدمته لسنين عديدة.

بمناسبة التقاعد … مديد العمر والصحة لسيادة المطران الدكتور سني إبراهيم عازر، الذي تمّ خلال فترة خدمته تأسيس العمل الاجتماعي (الدياكونيا) في الكنيسة الإنجيلية اللوثرية في الأردن والأراضي المقدسة، انطلاقاً من إيمان راسخ بأن خدمة الإنسان هي جوهر رسالة الكنيسة.

لقد أسهمت رؤيته وقيادته في ترسيخ الدياكونيا كتعبير حيّ عن الإيمان العامل بالمحبة، وخدمة كنسية تعكس العدالة والرحمة والالتزام بكرامة الإنسان.

كل الامتنان لسيادته على خدمته الأمينة، وعلى الأثر الروحي والإنساني العميق الذي تركه في مسيرة الكنيسة

Under the patronage of Bishop Dr. Sani Ibrahim Azar, the Diaconal Ministry of the ELCJHL held a special event to celebrate the International Day of Older Persons at the Diaconal Center in Beit Jala. The day’s activities included a presentation by professional nutritionist Sandra Amro, hymns, bingo, and lunch. The prayer for the day was led by Pastor Fursan Zu’mot. The Diaconal Ministry also brought professional stylists to offer hair and nail care to those who attended. All who came received a gift of appreciation at the end of the afternoon.

The International Day of Older persons was established to recognize and honor the essential role of elders in building and shaping our communities. We are so grateful for our elders and we uplift and celebrate their experience, wisdom, and resilience. Sincere thanks and appreciation to the Diaconal Ministry team Rana Zeidan and Josleen Shahwan, and to all who supported and attended the event.

تحت رعاية سيادة المطران الدكتور سني إبراهيم عازر، نظّم مكتب الخدمة الاجتماعية في الكنيسة الإنجيلية اللوثرية في )الأردن والأراضي المقدسة فعالية خاصة بمناسبة يوم المسن العالمي الذي أقيم في مركز الخدمة الاجتماعية في الكنيسة الإنجيليّة اللوثرية في بيت جالا.

تضمن البرنامج سلسلة من الأنشطة المتنوعة التي شملت محاضرة توعوية قدّمتها اخصائية التغذية ساندرا عمرو، وفقرة تراتيل وصلاة جماعية قادها القس فرسان زعمط، بالإضافة إلى أنشطة ترفيهية وغداء جماعي للحضور.

كما واستضاف مكتب الخدمة الاجتماعية مجموعة من خبراء التجميل لتقديم خدمات العناية بالشعر والأظافر للمشاركين. وفي ختام اليوم تم توزيع هدايا تذكارية لجميع الحضور، تعبيرا عن الشكر والتقدير والامتنان لحضورهم.

تمّ تخصيص يوم العالمي للمسنين، تقديراً وتكريماً لهم وعطائهم المستمر ودورهم الفعال في بناء المجتمع.
