In 2018, Ana Marote, a former PhD student from BnML - Behavioral & Molecular Lab and ICVS, in collaboration with Dr Laurent Roybon’s lab at Lund University, published 3 reports in Stem Cell Research on the generation of iPSCs lines from Parkinson’s disease patients.

Interested in how the immune system participates in the pathogenesis of anxiety disorders? Researchers from BnML - Behavioral & Molecular Lab have collaborated with researchers from University of Coimbra to explore the cross-talk between pre-natal glucocorticoid exposure, remodeling of microglial cells and development of anxiety traits. Receberá nos dias 21, 22 e 23 duas alunas, do Colégio João Paulo II e do Colégio Luso Internacional de Braga, dando-lhes a oportunidade de experimentar a investigação pré-clínica em modelos animais de doença.
