Today is “I Forgot Day”, the only day of the year that celebrates what we were going to remember… but didn’t.

If you’ve ever walked into a room and immediately forgotten why, lost your keys while holding them, or opened your phone and completely blanked on what you were doing...congratulations, you’re participating correctly.

For language learning, forgetting isn’t the enemy. It’s part of the process. You forget, you revisit, you strengthen the memory. Every mistake is just revision in disguise (even if it feels like chaos at the time).

So today’s gentle reminder:

It’s fine to forget words
It’s normal to repeat mistakes
It’s all part of learning something new
