She Explores

I love being by the ocean and walking along golden sands, especially on a quieter beach. However, being hypermobile creates its own challenges. Our campsite in Ovar is fab, set in a forest however it has a dry sandy floor. My body has to work harder to stabilise (hyper mobile hips, knees and ankles) which means I get tired quicker.
It’s not stopping me, and I’m lucky to have a bit of downtime after being on paths. Just takes a little longer than some to get places.

Night 1: very late arrival. Didn’t get to bed until 3am. Unexpectedly chilly over night. Had to play musical tents to support someone whose luggage had been lost. Glad I went for the 3 man. Did not like being squished in a 1 man tent 🤣

Day 1: IST path advisors training.
Breakfast wasn’t great, but that’s why I brought snacks 🤣 lunch was tasty but odd.

Free afternoon, I spent it napping on a bench by the river.
It’s rather warm 🥵 and I’m feeling a little lonely.
