Sena Runa Paper Art
Sena Runa Paper Art
The #1 question I get: “What paper do you use?”👀
After 10 years of collecting and experimenting, I’ve realized that pre-cut strips usually don’t “cut it” for me. They’re often too light or the widths aren’t right.
Here is exactly what I do:
1. The Weight (GSM) is Everything
120gsm: My absolute favorite. It’s the “perfect” weight for rolling.
160gsm: I use this too, but keep in mind—the thicker it gets, the harder it is to roll!
2. Custom Cutting ✂️
I cut my own strips from full sheets to get the exact width I need—usually 1cm or 2cm. For miniatures, I go even thinner for that extra level of detail!
3. My Tried & Tested Brands:
These are the brands I genuinely trust for quality and color.
Clairefontaine | Ursus | Folia | Canson
4. The Color Obsession 🌈
Most of these brands come in sets, which is my “excuse” for having a massive rainbow archive. A decade of collecting means I always have the exact shade I need.
(Disclaimer: Not a paid post! Just sharing my sincere experience to help my fellow paper artists. ❤️)
