A milestone for Qatar!

Today, the State of Qatar officially launched its first National Adaptation Plan (NAP)—a comprehensive, science-based roadmap to strengthen climate resilience and protect people, ecosystems, and the economy.

The plan identifies sectors most vulnerable to climate change—water, agriculture, biodiversity, public health, energy, industry, and coastal infrastructure—and sets concrete actions up to 2050.

GGGI is proud to have supported the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MECC) throughout this multi-year process and looks forward to the next phase of implementation.
