Together with during the month of Ramadan we hosted an intimate panel bringing together leading female founders shaping the region’s creative landscape: Nada Debs, Carla Baz, Huda Baroudi, and Maria Hibri of Bokja. Titled “Shaping the Region: Women, Design & Culture” and moderated by Lara Akkari, the conversation reflected on creativity, craftsmanship, and the journeys behind building enduring, culturally rooted brands.

The evening was a powerful reminder of what happens when women come together, uplifting, inspiring, and creating connections that extend far beyond a single gathering. In a time of uncertainty across the region, it also highlighted the light women continue to project through creation, their voices, and their communities. A celebration of creativity, resilience, and the power of women shaping culture together.

Our hearts are breaking as we witness what is unfolding in the region. The pain, the fear, the uncertainty, it weighs heavy on all of us.

In moments like these, we were yet again reminded of the quiet, unshakable power of women. Our intuition has always been a quiet guide, gently reminding us what we need, where to place our energy, and how to care for ourselves and the people around us.

Women carry a deep, instinctive ability to nurture, to hold space, and to heal. When we gather with our girls, whether it is through conversation, shared silence, or simply being present with one another, we don’t just hold space for grief, we create space for healing. We nurture hope where it feels impossible. We build bridges where there are walls. We choose compassion when the world feels divided. Peace begins in living rooms, around kitchen tables, in community circles and grows outward.

Self care and self love become essential. Trust your intuition. Rest when you need to. Reach out to the women who ground you. There is strength in those small, quiet moments of connection which help us find our way back to balance, hope, and healing.
