VCUarts Qatar goes to Venice:
Qatar brings Aghrab Idrāk: Thresholds of Perception to one of the world’s most influential art platforms. The exhibition unfolds through a constellation of projects and research labs, including A Monocular Monologue, TypeAraby, GA:MA Lab, Bandhini Arabi, Chrysalis, Sonic Jeel, Water With Water, and (In)>Tangible Lab, each exploring how we see, sense and understand the world around us.

As curators Chase Gregory and Hesperia Iliadou notes: “The framework asks viewers to reconsider the exhibition experience, not by offering something entirely new, but by inviting a different way of understanding it. Exhibitions are not only about objects or ideas; they are about embodied encounters.”

More than an exhibition, Aghrab Idrāk is an invitation to experience perception itself as a shared, evolving and deeply human encounter.
