Did you know Qatar is creating employment for 11,000 women in Afghanistan through a beautiful, sustainable project? It began with art! 20 Afghan artisans were brought to Qatar to study ancient objects for two weeks. This experience led to 40 breathtaking new creations, pushing their skills to unmatched levels! Now, through a partnership with the Qatar Fund for Development, the focus is on supporting Afghanistan's natural assets: the generational tradition of carpet weaving and the incredible, lustrous Ghazni wool. This initiative directly supports 11,000 women—many of whom are the sole breadwinners for their homes—by providing vital employment and sustaining their craft. It's a commitment to building on what Afghanistan has, ensuring a phenomenal ripple effect for families and communities.
