Lusail Expressway is one of the Expressway Programme’s key projects currently under construction. It is in the north of Doha and will upgrade the existing Lusail Street from south of the Al Wahda Intersection (previously known as the Arch Roundabout) to north of the North Canal Crossing, the project is 5.3 kilometers long, with four lanes in each direction. In addition to the upgraded North and South Canal Crossings, it will deliver three major interchanges at Al Wadha, The Pearl and Onaiza, each as high as four levels, comprising a network of vehicle and Light Rail tunnels, underpasses, flyovers and junctions.

مشروع تطوير طريق لوسيل السريع الذي يجري تنفيذه حالياً ضمن برنامج الطرق السريعة سيتم من خلاله تطوير طريق لوسيل الحالي ابتداء من جنوب تقاطع الوحدة (دوار القوس سابقاً) وصولاً إلى جسر القناة الشمالية. يبلغ طول طريق لوسيل السريع 5.3 كلم، وسيضم أربعة مسارات في كل اتجاه، بالإضافة إلى تطوير جسري القناة الشمالية والجنوبية، كما سيشمل المشروع إنشاء ثلاثة تقاطعات رئيسية متعددة المستويات تتراوح ما بين ثلاثة إلى أربعة مستويات تضم أنفاقاً وجسوراً وممرات مترابطة للمركبات ولقطار النقل الخفيف.

The Doha Metro by Qatar Rail is one of the well-known projects in Qatar, it will serve both the capital and the suburbs with all major locations within easy and convenient reach. Most of the Doha Metro lines will be underground, so tunneling plays a major role in construction. By using specialized equipment known as tunnel boring machines (TBMs) to dig the underground sections. This means that there is very little disruption to life on the surface.

مترو الدوحة من المشاريع المعروفة في قطر وأحد مشاريع شركة الريل، يسعى المشروع إلى توفير شبكة نقل مريحة وسهل الوصول اليها داخل العاصمة وضواحيها وجميع المواقع الرئيسية فيها. وفيما يتم بناء معظم خطوط مترو الدوحة تحت الارض، يشكل حفر الأنفاق مرحلة رئيسية في اعمال البناء، من خلال الاستعانة بآلات حفر الأنفاق العملاقة للحفر والمصممة لكي لا تسبب اضطرابات تذكر على سطح الأرض.
