🚀 Digital Challenge Contest 2025 – “HealthConnect: One Health Agri&Digital Solutions”

Today marks the jury evaluation of the 2025 edition of the Digital Challenge Contest – a competition that brings together technology, education, and innovative solutions for health, environment, and agriculture, in the spirit of the One Health concept. 💡

Young participants have developed 21 projects, working with passion, perseverance, and creativity across three fields:

💻 Programming & AI – mobile apps, sensors, and digital solutions for health and agriculture
🧩 3D Modeling – prototypes of medical devices and smart agriculture systems
🛰️ Aerospace / Aeromodeling – drones, medical transport systems, and educational satellites

Today, an exceptional jury is evaluating the projects:

Prof. Univ. Dr. Eng. Pisla Adrian – Professor at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, specialist in robotics, mechatronics, and intelligent systems. He coordinates the Siemens PLM Center, has authored over 150 scientific publications, and for more than 30 years has shaped a new generation of innovators in robotics and engineering.

Dr. Eng. Flaviana Rotaru – President of the ROHEALTH Cluster – Health and Bioeconomy, a strong promoter of collaboration between research, innovation, and industry. With over 15 years of experience in European project management and medical innovation, she is a leading voice supporting the One Health ecosystem in Romania.

Lt. Col. Lecturer Dr. Liviu GĂINĂ – Faculty member at the Faculty of Air Security Systems, within the Henri Coandă Air Force Academy. Expert in flight systems and aeronautical safety, actively involved in training the next generation of aerospace and aviation specialists.

Eng. Gheorghe Marian – Agronomist and specialist in precision agriculture, Vice President of the Association for Precision Agriculture (APAP). He has contributed to numerous projects integrating satellites, sensors, and drones into agriculture for more sustainable resource management.

Eng. Ionuț Filea – Mechatronics engineer and robotics trainer at Learnex, with extensive experience in STEM education. He inspires students to explore science through hands-on learning and international robotics competitions.

📣 Digital Challenge Contest 2025 is organized by the Association for Precision Agriculture (formerly SUPORT – Central Region Association), in partnership with ROHEALTH – The Health and Bioeconomy Cluster, under the EU4Health program.
