Lost by Default

Today 08 December 2022, Austria and Holland danced exactly as the Balalaika sang… their vote says it all… and shows how divided the EU really is.

I would ask where is the intelligence and “superior” culture, that this countries think they have, when you look at this decision ? I say it’s very hard to find now, in this moment when they behaved like spoiled brats …

What happened today with the refusal of Romania and Bulgaria in the Schengen space while accepting Croatia is showing a duplicitous behaviour that harms the EU in such a way that it will echo in ways you can not even imagine for the months and years to come. Especially with the current war situation.

EU feels more divided now than ever before and this situation can bring it all down in the years to come … one of the worlds most ambitious construction will fail very soon if members are discriminated in such way that it happened today…

For the future I will personally avoid as much as is humanly possible all the products and everything that has to do with this 2 countries … and looking at the general feeling in Romania, I can say that most other Romanians have similar feelings. I will not be ashamed of the country I was born in and I will not accept to be treated differently based on this. To whom has something against me based on where I come from I will show the same treatment. With all the good and the bad things that Romania has I will support my country wherever I will be on this planet.

EU and Schengen have failed once again ...
