⚡ SIMAI Technology SRL and BYD Strengthen Strategic Cooperation in Eastern Europe
On March 10, 2026, SIMAI Technology SRL welcomed the BYD Eastern Europe sales team to its headquarters in Bucharest for a strategic meeting focused on accelerating the deployment of advanced energy storage solutions in the region.
The discussions covered BYD’s latest residential battery systems, C&I (Commercial & Industrial) energy storage solutions, and utility-scale containerized storage systems, addressing the rapidly growing demand for energy storage across Eastern Europe.
During the meeting, the two companies signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the Eastern European market, marking a new milestone in the partnership between SIMAI and BYD.
As part of this cooperation, BYD awarded SIMAI Technology SRL a Special Support Certificate, recognizing SIMAI’s strong market development capabilities and its contribution to the regional energy storage ecosystem.
With the rapid growth of renewable energy and grid flexibility needs, energy storage is becoming a key pillar of the energy transition.
