We are pleased to invite submissions to the Autumn 2023 issue of Euro-Atlantic Resilience Journal (E-ARJ) on the topic of societal resilience. In the face of increasing global challenges, it is imperative to better understand what keeps societies together in the face of adversity and how societies can adapt and recover from various shocks and stresses.
The next issue of E-ARJ issue aims to advance the theoretical and empirical understanding of societal resilience. We welcome original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, and conceptual papers that address any of the following topics or other topics that may be relevant to this field:
Conceptualizations and measurement of societal resilience
Community-based and participatory approaches to building societal resilience
Role of social networks and collective action in enhancing societal resilience
Contributions of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship to societal resilience
Societal resilience and democratic resilience
Countering hostile campaigns designed to weaken social cohesion and, by extension, societal resilience
The impact of large movements of people on the societal resilience in the Euro-Atlantic states
Manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer-review process and must conform to the journalโs guidelines. The deadline for submissions is September 1st. Submissions should be made at the email address [email protected].
