rats… and very loud, very confident left-wing and green ideas about how everyone else should live.

On March 22, 2026, Paris chose continuity again, with Emmanuel Grégoire winning the mayoralty and extending 25 years of left-led rule after Anne Hidalgo. Reuters, AP, and Le Monde all presented the result as a continuation of the city’s Socialist-led direction.

Worst service ever! I went to the Lidl Romania on Blvd Tudor Vladimirescu, and what a disaster. The so-called “chef” in charge had no clue about how a return process works, and what’s worse—zero concept of customer care.

It’s not rocket science, it’s a simple return, yet they somehow managed to turn it into a circus. The staff was unhelpful, the manager was nowhere to be found, and after all that, I left feeling completely ignored and frustrated.

But wait, it gets worse. The security lady came over to argue with me, claiming that the cashier had to verify if the purchase was done in that store, otherwise the return wouldn’t be possible. Seriously? You can’t make this up. Unfortunately, I can’t educate everyone, especially when it’s your job to understand basic customer service.

This is supposed to be a well-run business, but the service here makes you wonder if they’re even trained to understand the basics of customer satisfaction.

Sort it out, Lidl! If you want to keep customers coming back, you better get your act together—especially when it comes to handling returns and basic service.
