A Fractured World - Holding the P(i)eaces Together
Found by chance on the street, fragments of broken window glass are transformed into jewelry that reflects and explores the fragility of a society that has lost its vital bond with Nature.
The central shards symbolize the internal fractures of humanity-political, cultural, and spiritual divisions. What once offered clarity and protection is now shattered, bearing witness to rupture and mirroring our damaged ecosystem and growing collective disconnection. Here, fragmentation becomes both material and metaphor, offering a quiet reflection of contemporary instability.
Silver branches representing nature form a protective, unifying exoskeleton around the fragile core. Bound together with silk surgical cord, the branches suggest an act of healing-a careful attempt to repair the wounds caused by the exploitation and neglect of the Earth. The cord serves as a temporary suture, reminding us that lasting repair requires renewed awareness, responsibility, and respect. These structures recall ancient ritual objects and evoke primordial symbolism, representing the sacred link between humans and the natural world.
These jewels are fragile yet hopeful. They remind us that the stability of our shared world depends on each individual’s awareness and moral understanding of this essential connection. Only by restoring our bond with nature can we begin to mend the fractures within ourselves and society.

Behind the scenes of
A Fractured World - Holding the P(i)eaces Together
This collection began with two unexpected encounters.
The first - three years ago, while waiting in line at a courier office. The concept and title appeared instantly in my mind - almost like a whisper from the Universe. But it had to wait for the right time…
The second - this winter, beside the gondola parking on my way to ski. Broken glass on the street, discarded fragments suddenly shining like hidden treasure. I dropped my gear, started collecting, and knew: it was time.
Later, another encounter completed the story - old surgical thread found in my grandmother’s house, produced in the People’s Republic of Bulgaria, the country where I was born 😊 An echo of the Cold War, another symbol and link to this fractured world.
This is the most conceptual, complicated, and emotionally demanding collection I have ever created. Everything is fragile - not only the idea, but the process itself. Sharp edges, constant tension, holding my breath in concentration so nothing breaks before its time.
It feels less like making jewelry and more like performing a careful act of repair.
"but I know the pieces fit..."
And honestly… it is so difficult and crazy to make that I know I will never create anything like this again.
A very limited fragment of a fractured world.
So grateful to present it for first time at
