Relics and Militaria

Mă bucur că în această primăvară am reușit să realizăm expoziția „repWARtaje” cu ajutorul Muzeul Național de Istorie a României, proiect care a ajuns în atenția unui public mult mai vast și divers.

Circuitul expozițional își dorește să prezinte diferența dintre realitatea din randurile de text ale ziarelor și adevărul dintre liniile de sârmă ghimpată de pe frontul de Est. Această luptă dusă de soldați, ziariști, fotografi ai serviciului de propagandă, familiile de acasă este prezentată prin titluri și fragmente de articole de presa, obiecte recuperate din zona Stalingrad, scrisori, cărți poștale, fotografii de pe front și alte mici piese care alcătuiesc acest puzzle.

Mulțumesc lui Andrei Copoț și lui Alex Stefanut pentru aportul adus prin piesele din colecțiile lor, echipei de la Muzeul Național de Istorie a României și lui Mladin Bogdan Dumitru pentru sprijinul și exponatele relevante acestui proiect.

I am glad that this spring we managed to create the “repWARtaje” exhibition with the help of the National Museum of History of Romania, a project that has reached the attention of a much wider and more diverse audience.

The exhibition circuit aims to present the difference between the reality in the lines of newspaper text and the truth between the lines of barbed wire on the Eastern Front. This struggle waged by soldiers, journalists, photographers of the propaganda service, families at home is presented through headlines and fragments of press articles, objects recovered from the Stalingrad area, letters, postcards, photographs from the front and other small pieces that make up this puzzle.

Big thanks Andrei Copoț and Alex Ștefănuț for the contribution brought through the pieces from their collections, the team from the National Museum of History of Romania and Mladin Bogdan Dumitru for the support and exhibits relevant to this project.
