Responsibilities:

Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically;
Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system;
Determine the priority for test scenarios and create ex*****on plans to implement these scenarios;
Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases;
Build test automation frameworks;
Log and document bugs in the tracking system;

Set up Continuous Integration
Exploratory testing when there is a need to understand how functionality manifests itself to the customer.

Purpose of the function : Designing and writing, running test automation scripts, using test automation frameworks, investigating problems in software as a result of testing, while working in an agile development team;

Job Description
- building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
- working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
